Usage and Dosage

• Prescription: Diamox should be taken as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

  • Glaucoma: 250 mg to 1,000 mg per day, divided into multiple doses.
  • Altitude Sickness: 250 mg to 500 mg per day, usually started 24-48 hours before ascent and continued for 48 hours while at high altitude.
  • Edema: 250 mg to 375 mg once daily in the morning.
  • Seizures: 250 mg to 1,000 mg per day, divided into multiple doses.
• Administration: Take the tablet with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Precautions

Additional Information
